Polka Dots – Cream Dot Cuff

Bold colour, scattered with soft cream dots. Inspired by the playful polka dots of Japanese pop art, this cuff comes in two striking colourways: a fiery red that recalls a fairytale toadstool, and a deep black speckled like a starling’s winter feathers. Wear it on its own or stack both for extra contrast.

Each cuff is handmade from polymer clay set into a brass cuff, and every dot is hand-painted with acrylic paint, so no two are ever quite the same. The matte base has a soft, lightly sanded texture, with raised cream dots for a subtle, tactile contrast.

Care
Brass is a natural material, so it will slowly darken and develop a warm patina over time. This is completely normal and part of its character. Some people love the vintage look, and if you prefer it bright, it’s easy to bring back the shine:

• Everyday: wipe the cuff with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove skin oils.
• To restore the shine: gently rub the brass with a jewellery polishing cloth.
• For darker spots: dab a little lemon juice mixed with a pinch of salt onto a cotton bud or soft cloth, rub only the brass parts, then wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Avoid getting liquids or cleaning products on the polymer clay and painted dots, and never soak the cuff in water.
• Keep away from perfume, lotions and harsh chemicals. Store in a dry place or a small pouch to slow down darkening.

Good to know
Because each cuff is handmade, small variations in shape, dots and colour are part of the charm. Brass can occasionally leave a faint greenish mark on the skin. This is harmless and washes off easily.
